Dear friends of the Colonie Police Benevolent Association:

The Colonie Police Benevolent Association is a nonprofit organization that represents the Patrolman, Investigators and Sergeants of the Colonie Police Department, who serve your community. The generous donations we receive from the friends of our organization allow us to assist our members and continue to support many other causes throughout our community that we so proudly serve.

The members of the Colonie PBA are professional and dedicated police officers that take great pride in helping to make the Town of Colonie one of the nine safest communities in America to live in. With this in mind the Colonie PBA continues to support many charitable organizations, programs and community events. We donate and support scholarship programs in both North and South Colonie School Districts, the Special Olympics, Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs throughout the Town, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, programs that provide for the elderly, Needy Family Program, Latham Lassies, numerous little league teams, Pop Warner, other youth sports programs, high school programs and other worthwhile organizations.

For many years the Colonie P.B.A. has produced a high quality informative magazine, The Colonie Guardian.

Please remember that this is our only fundraiser and mailer, assisted by Nordel Publishing Inc., the publisher of the Colonie Guardian. There are many organizations that contact the public claiming to represent your local Police Department or P.B.A. They are paid professional telemarketers and NOT from the Colonie P.B.A. and have NO affiliation with us. The Colonie P.B.A. values your privacy and to prevent fraud, will NEVER solicit residents by phone and NEVER pick up monies at your home.

On the behalf of the members of the Colonie PBA, I would like to thank-you for your generous support of our organization. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Colonie PBA office at 452-1040.

Thank you for your support,

PBA President Nick Sidoti
